Standard Transfer

Our Standard Transfer is a no frills, professional quality digitization process. All vinyl is carefully cleaned beforehand with a specialized formula which helps to remove excess dirt, oil, and debris. Included in the cost are track separation (creating individual CD tracks from each song on the recording) and level optimization (to ensure adequate output). Files are delivered, uncompressed, on compact discs attractively labeled with the artist name and album title.

e-Music Package

The e-Music Package is one of our most popular services, and it is easy to see why. In addition to the Standard Transfer process described above, metadata such as artist, album & track names, and album cover art is embedded in your files, providing complete integration of your favorite analog recordings into the modern electronic music environment. When you add your newly-transferred files to your digital music library, they will appear right alongside the files you have ripped from commercially produced CD's - completely searchable by artist and track name, with the album cover art on display as it plays...pretty cool!

Another popular service, our Crackle & Pop Removal uses state of the art software to analyze the audio waveforms, identify and remove the high frequency crackling, clicks, and pops inherent in vinyl recordings. Does an excellent job of cleaning up less-than-perfect audio without a noticeable effect on the sound quality. Each recording is manually corrected by our technicians, to ensure the best possible results for the sound issues associated with that particular disc. Note: Excessive noise, and other artifacts from severe surface damage may still be audible, though highly attenuated. If your records are in very bad shape, and require extra attention, you may want to look into our Custom Audio Editing/Restoration service.

Noise & Hiss Reduction

Standard Transfer | Noise & Hiss Reduction

Primarily applied to transfers of audio cassettes and reels, our Noise & Hiss reduction service utilizes the latest software tools to evaluate and reduce frequencies specific to your transfer which may be causing excess noise. While difficult to completely remove noise without affecting key musical frequencies, judicious application of noise removal technology can go a long way towards bringing new life to otherwise weathered recordings. CD Rip

For those of you who don't want to spend your time ripping your entire CD collection to MP3 (or similar compressed formats), we offer our CD Rip service. Send us your CD's by the truckload, we will return them along with data DVD's chock full of music files and folders, ready to be imported into your library in one fell swoop.

Upload Service

Our Upload Service allows us to deliver your files to you digitally by uploading them to our server. Instead of a physical CD or DVD-ROM, you will receive a link via email that will allow you to download your transferred material directly to your home computer. The first 100 megabytes are free!

Custom Audio Editing/Restoration

Have badly damaged vinyl that you absolutely need to sound like new? A cassette recording so noisy, you can barely hear what's going on? Our technicians can work near miracles with source material of virtually any condition. Priced at our standard hourly rate, our Custom Audio Editing/Restoration service has saved dozens of clients from the clutches of despair! Most of the work is done in the digital realm, but we have also been known to manually fix stubborn skips in records, and reassemble broken cassettes, among other things.

Donate Your Unwanted Vinyl/Recycle Your Unwanted Cassettes

Many of our customers tell us the reason they want to digitize their music is so they can get rid of their heavy, cumbersome crates of vinyl and cassettes. Analog to Digital has come up with a solution that benefits our customers, and our society! By checking the Donate/Recycle My Materials box on our order form, you can designate all or part of your order for reuse. Unwanted vinyl is donated to our local Goodwill outlet, and cassettes are shipped to a recycling plant on the East Coast, where they are dismantled and completely recycled.

Analog to Digital will store your materials on-site for an entire month to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your transfers prior to donating or recycling them.
